Fight Cancer , Go Pink !
So im taking a break from the usual nonsense i post to actually support a good cause.As some of you might know its October which is Breast Cancer Awareness month , hence the pink ribbon.I am very much aware that its actually the last day of October and id like to say that breast cancer is a very real thing that some people are living with this may be a month to make us aware of this and to respect and support those who are living with the disease as well as those who have survived. But i think the support should not stop here but stop when a cure is actually found.Its really hard for me to relate being that im a guy and all ,but my heart goes out to all those who are fighting their fight against cancer and everyone who has a love one who is living with cancer.
Did You Know :
- 40 000 women die from breast cancer each year
- Chances of a woman having invasive breast cancer is 1 in 8 .though men do get the disease it is 100 times more common in women.

- wait , I didnt know that ! I guess that's why its called Breast Cancer ' AWARENESS ' Month. most of us aren't really aware of most of these facts.
- So remember dudes ! just cause you don't have boobies doesn't mean you cant get breast cancer !.And if you do have boobies .. i don't really wanna know !
- It has been proven so many times that cancer is very much a winnable fight !
So since this is all about women and respect.Ive decided to mention the 5 women i respect the most.In random order :
Angelina Jolie
Why : Seriously ! why not ! besides her being hot and all ! She is a good will ambassador and its a smart move of hers putting her good looks to good use ! Ps : Angelina if your looking to adopt lets say a little curly haired Asian boy , I'm all yours !
Melissa Etheridge
Why : Known for being a breast cancer survivor and her post cancer Grammy performance of Janice Joplin's " piece of my heart " . Her surviving cancer shows that cancer is a winnable fight.
Kristen Bell
Why : Ok there has to be a place on the list for a person whom which i respect plainly because she's hot. Plus being young and hot in hollywood ,i highly respect that she hasn't gotten a DUI arrest and or has been to rehab !
Oprah
Why : Surprise surprise . oh if i had a penny for every time i mentioned Oprah here on my blog.So why do respect the Big O ( i say big in no reference to her little "thyroid" problem ) . Mainly because shes rich and shes powerful and at this point of her career she can actually afford to buy our respect,but she continues to earn it .
My Mom
Why : cause any woman that has to put up with all this ! aka ME and my little shenanigans on a daily basis has to be one heck of a woman.! yeah ... and this is not me trying to score extra points for a Christmas present *wink* *wink*
PS : i googled breast cancer and found out about a few sites in which you can learn more about breast cancer and how you can support the cause (Link Below) .Though pink is not really my colour it technically is still Breast Cancer Awareness month so, fight cancer , go pink !
